From the early age of five there was nothing else for me but dancing. If someone asked me what I wanted to be when I grew up, I immediately answered: "Something with ballet." So it was quite natural that I started taking ballet lessons with Elly Grimm at the age of nine.
After my school education came the intensive training to become a ballet teacher. So I learned classical ballet according to the Russian method from A. Vaganova. I also learned from Galina Basowa/Kiev, Barbara Zapfdorn/Nuremberg, Anastasia Herényiová/Bratislava and Alain Howard/London. I did my pedagogical training with Ursula Borrman/Cologne.
In the years that followed, I continued to study
- Modern, Limon -Technique at Lea Darwin/Chicago
- Jazz with Gus Giordano/Chicago
- Spanish dance with José da Udaeta (several weeks of training in Spain)
- Tap dance with Gerti Hartmann/Stuttgart and Roger M. Louis/Basel
- Historical dance with Prof. Dr. Karl Heinz Taubert
In 1980, my long-cherished dream of owning my own ballet studio came true and the "Ballet Studio Lilo" opened its doors for young and old ballet rats...
I offer children's ballet from the age of four with a subsequent transition to classical ballet and classical ballet for adults and returnees.
Courses in jazz, tap dance and Spanish dance are added to the program as required.
